Ministry Update - November & December, 2024
Dear Friends,
I want to take a moment to thank God and express my gratitude to all of you. It has been over a year since we began receiving your support—whether financial, moral, spiritual, or active—and I am deeply moved by your willingness to stand with us. Throughout this journey, I have felt God’s loving presence reflected through each of you. Your prayers and encouragement have been an incredible blessing to the young men we serve here in Bolivia. Together, we have made great strides, reaffirming our commitment to serving a purpose greater than ourselves.
Today, our ministry is home to five young men who are determined to build bright and hopeful futures. These young adults have shown remarkable resilience and a desire to overcome the challenges they face. Our commitment to them is steadfast: we provide housing, meals, and essential resources while equipping them with opportunities for education and stable employment. Some of them have already developed the social and vocational skills needed to begin managing their personal expenses. They are also growing in ethical principles and values of community living.
One of our greatest achievements this year has been seeing these young men make healthier decisions and take responsibility for their choices. Even more inspiring is the spiritual curiosity that has taken root in their hearts—a curiosity centered on knowing God.
Of course, this year has not been without its challenges. One of the most difficult moments comes when a member of our home parts ways with the ministry. These times are discouraging, but they have also been opportunities for us to grow, adapt, and create new possibilities. Additionally, we have faced administrative hurdles that challenge us to find innovative ways for supporters abroad to contribute to Pneuma Ministries. Despite these difficulties, we remain committed to the vision God has placed on our hearts.
As we approach the holiday season, I want to send you all a warm embrace filled with gratitude and love. Christmas holds a special place in my heart, as it is a time to celebrate unity—not only with our families but also in our relationship with God. May you and your loved ones experience the joy and peace of this season. Merry Christmas!
With love and gratitude,
Orlando
